Tanger Outlet Center in San Marcos, Texas<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

North Carolina-based Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. and Poag Shopping Centers, LCC will break ground for a new Tanger Outlets shopping center in Southaven, MS on March 13. Located just 4.5 miles from Memphis at the northeast quadrant of I-69\/55 and Church Road, the outlet mall will be developed in two phases.<\/p>\n

During the official ceremony, guests will be able to see the design of the new mall, its amenities and a partial tenant roster. The project will create 400 jobs in the construction phase and over 900 full- and part-time positions upon build out. According to an official statement, the center will generate about $7.5 million in additional sales tax per year.<\/p>\n

The first phase will deliver \u00b1310,000 square feet of gross leasable space, which will accommodate more than 70 stores.<\/p>\n
