The Shops at Aspen Creek<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Griffin Properties has acquired a 12.2-acre site from The Signorelli Co. for a multi-family project at The Shops at Aspen Creek in Broken Arrow. The 277-unit, garden-style community will be branded The Reserve at Aspen Creek and will be managed by Trinity Multifamily, the operating partner of Fort Smith, Ark.-based Griffin Properties.<\/p>\n

Located about 12 minutes from downtown Tulsa, The Shops at Aspen Creek is a mixed-use project developed by Signorelli and will include over 1 million square feet of retail, entertainment and residential space. Construction of the three-story residential building will begin in June 2015 and is scheduled for completion in mid-2016.<\/p>\n

\u201cSouth Broken Arrow offers the only development pocket in the entire greater Tulsa market where there is a substantial void for retail and excellent demographics supporting immediate need for a large scale development,\u201d said Danny Signorelli, president & CEO of The Signorelli Co, in a statement. \u201cWe expect to have more announcements about key anchors, popular stores and restaurants coming to The Shops at Aspen Creek in the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The entertainment anchor at The Shops at Aspen Creek is the 18-screen, state-of-the-art Warren Theatre, which opened last month. Major retailers that have signed on include Walmart, Dollar Tree, CATO and CVS.
