The price was undisclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the I-85\/Northeast submarket, the portfolio comprises buildings 1200, 1300, 1327 and 1400 Northbrook Parkway. Its infill location is immediately adjacent to the I-85\/Old Peachtree Road interchange and provides immediate access to local, regional and national distribution routes and Gwinnett County\u2019s highly-skilled population base.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the sale, the Peachtree North Industrial Portfolio was 92 percent leased to a highly diversified rent roll with more than four years of weighted average remaining term.<\/p>\n<p>In October, Industrial Property Trust first entered the Atlanta market, acquiring the Meadows Distribution Center for $7.7 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to Colliers International\u00a03Q Industrial Market Report, the Atlanta industrial market experienced a modest quarter after leading the\u00a0nation with 6 million square feet of industrial space absorbed the previous quarter. Nevertheless,\u00a0almost\u00a02.3 million square feet of positive absorption occurred, which is the ninth consecutive\u00a0period with an increase in occupancy.<\/p>\n<p>Another big Atlanta industrial acquisition was made by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/property-types\/industrial\/hartz-mountain-industries-acquires-north-atlanta-distribution-portfolio-for-129m\/1004105870.html\">Hartz Mountain Industries in October<\/a>, when it acquired Peachtree Corners and Kennestone Corners, a 2.5-million-square-foot North Atlanta distribution portfolio of Class B industrial centers, from Clarion Partners for $129 million.<\/p>\n<p>Industrial Property Trust had a busy 2014 as well, acquiring more than 2 million square feet in eight major industrial markets, including sites in Baltimore, Chicago and D.C.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Industrial Property Trust Inc. continues making strides in Atlanta&#8217;s sizable industrial market with the acquisition of  four multi-tenant warehouses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":451,"featured_media":1004110763,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21748,21783,21742],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004110760","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-industrial","category-investment","category-latest"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.0 (Yoast SEO v28.0) -
