\"\"<\/a>In downtown Las Cruces there\u2019s a new apartment complex ready to receive its residents. The Lofts at Alameda, a 38-unit, three-story residential community recently received the certificate of occupancy from the city and is ready to rent starting this month.<\/p>\n

The $3 million upscale complex is located at the corner of Court Avenue and Alameda Boulevard, adjacent to the Alameda Depot Historic District. There are about 4,000 people working in the downtown area, but few of them live in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The Lofts at Alameda offers 14 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units that will rent starting from $735, and 24 two-bedroom, two-bathroom units that will rent for $860. Those located on the east and west end of the upper floors carry higher rents because of better views. The loft-style apartments feature high ceilings, exposed coiled duct work and balconies. All units are equipped with energy efficient appliances, including a washer and dryer.<\/p>\n

The project’s architect is Dekker Perich Sabatini. Robert Hines Construction is the general contractor, and the developer is The Lofts at Alameda LLC.<\/p>\n
