Heritage Hotels and Resorts also owns Hotel Albuquerque and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cities\/albuquerque\/heritage-hotels-and-resorts-acquires-eldorado-hotel-spa\/1004097810.html\">Eldorado Hotel and Spa<\/a>, currently employing 1,600 people statewide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Hotel Chaco will encompass 120,000 square feet on five stories and offer 118 guest rooms. A rooftop restaurant and lounge, as well as a main restaurant with seating for 150 are part of the architectural plan. Moreover, a spa of 6,000 square feet, a fitness room of 1,200 square feet, and about 3,000 square feet of street-level retail will complement the development. Hotel Chaco will share the existing pool at Hotel Albuquerque, as well as the ballroom and chapel. Construction costs for the boutique hotel are estimated at $25 million and the opening date is planned for mid-2016.<a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2014\/12\/Heritage-Gesler_1Abq.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-314848\" title=\"Hotel Chaco_Abq\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2014\/12\/Heritage-Gesler_1Abq.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The new hotel will be built by general contractor Klinger Constructors from Albuquerque.
