Located near the intersection of Ratchadapisek Road, the massive tower would be part of Bangkok\u2019s new 1.1-million-square-foot central business district, the Grand Rama 9.<\/p>\n<p>Designed by Architects 49 Ltd., G-Land\u2019s Super Tower will consist of 969 square feet of office space and a \u2018six-star\u2019 hotel with 260 rooms, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bangkokpost.com\/property\/news\/437560\/tallest-skyscraper-in-asean-planned-for-bangkok\" rel=\"nofollow\"><i>Bangkok Post<\/i><\/a>. If completed, the tower would become the third tallest building in the world and the highest in the entire Asian region. Thailand\u2019s tallest building is currently the Baiyok II tower, topping out at 1077 feet, and the second-tallest is the Mahanakhon condominium tower to be completed in 2016. The Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumpur are currently the tallest buildings in Southeast Asia, at 1230 feet.<\/p>\n<p>The Super Tower is only one of several buildings planned for G-Land\u2019s Grand Rama 9 megaproject, which includes the G-Land Tower, the ninth Tower, the Shoppes at Corridor, a luxury hotel, an office complex, the Belle grand Rama 9 and Central Plaza Grand Rama 9. The Super Tower will feature, among other amenities, an observation deck for tourists and a rooftop garden.
