\"\"<\/a>Kestrel Investments and OGE Energy Corp, parent company of Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co., recently announced that OGE\u2019s new headquarters in downtown Oklahoma City will be developed and built by Clayco, Inc. and designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects L.L.P.<\/p>\n

According to The Norman Transcript<\/a><\/em>, Kestrel Investments, the site’s owner, plans a 14- to 16-story tower on the site, which is located on Sheridan between Hudson and Walker.<\/p>\n

Robert A. M. Stern, Graham S. Wyatt and Meghan McDermott from New York-based RAMSA will lead the design team, News Oklahoma reports<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

The site was previously home to the 44-year old Stage Center, which is being demolished. OGE will occupy roughly 300,000 square feet of the new building, which might also include retail, residential or hotel components. OGE\u2019s new headquarters will be built near the site of the new downtown Oklahoma City convention center.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to have firms of the caliber of Clayco and RAMSA leading the proposed development and design of this building,\u201d said Rainey Williams, president of Kestrel Investments. \u201cI\u2019m excited to have them join our efforts to create a building that will continue the unprecedented growth in downtown Oklahoma City, and provide a great new home for OG&E. Our goal is to break ground on the new building early next year, with first occupancy in early 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n
