The building is now 65 percent occupied.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Akridge and Rockwood acquired 7550 Wisconsin Ave. in late 2010. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyshark.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>PropertyShark<\/em><\/a>, the purchase price was $12.5 million. The two companies renovated the property, originally built in 1964, transforming it into a state-of-the-art office building. Bethesda&#8217;s only new office development in more than a decade, PropertyShark lists its current market value at a little over $29.5 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7550 Wisconsin is LEED Gold certified and boasts a sleek glass exterior.\u00a0 It offers the only full-service rooftop entertainment space in Bethesda, as well as the market&#8217;s only private on-site, all-inclusive fitness facility, with state-of-the-art equipment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 10-story office building totals 110,000 square feet of space. Its new tenants are Carnemark Systems and Design, KVS Title, LSoft International, Sandy Spring Bank, SunEdison and a local lodging REIT. All six have signed long-term leases.
