The increasing trade with Mexico, the skilled workforce and the immediate access to the Gulf all add up to a recipe for growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Brownsville &amp; Rio Grande International Railroad travels through 45 miles of the Brownsville Navigation District and five miles into the city of Brownsville itself, providing the port and its customers with access to two\u00a0Class 1 railroads\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Union-Pacific\u00a0and\u00a0Burlington Northern\u00a0Santa Fe.
