The city&#8217;s office market may not be in a league with that of its closest metropolitan neighbor, Philadelphia, but one wouldn\u2019t necessarily know it, judging by the attention the two-building South Campus property garnered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a ton of interest from both users and investors\/developers,\u201d Doug Rodio, executive vice president with JLL, told <i>Commercial Property Executive<\/i>. \u201cThe potential buyer community was not limited to just the usual suspects that typically invest in Greater Philadelphia; there were several aggressive bids from developers based in Washington, D.C., New York and even California.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Developed in 2003 as part of AstraZeneca\u2019s 750,000-square-foot complex, the South Campus consists of one four-story building and one three-story building featuring a respective 204,000-square feet and 153,000 square feet of premier office space.\u00a0 The campus also offers a 2,017-space parking facility and such state-of-the-art amenities as an electric car charging station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis location is one of the best, if not the best, locations in all of northern Delaware,\u201d Rodio added. \u201cThe existing office product is best-in-class and the future development opportunities are exciting as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co. has just gotten its hands on 357,500 square feet of top-notch office space in Wilmington, Del., with the acquisition of biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca\u2019s 58-acre South Campus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":969,"featured_media":1004097830,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21783,21742,21747],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004097827","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-investment","category-latest","category-office"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v23.4 (Yoast SEO v24.6) -
