Carmel-based TM Crowley Development LLC is planning to add a 352-unit apartment community to its mixed-use commercial project in Noblesville. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Indianapolis Business Journal<\/a><\/em>, the company is asking the city\u2019s Plan Commission to rezone 25 acres of vacant farmland northeast of the intersection at State Road 37 and 146th Street from business to multifamily. <\/span><\/p>\n

Crowley is also requesting the approval of a preliminary plan for its entire project known as Conner Crossing. The development will spread across more than 70 acres, with the retail\/commercial component closer to 146th Street. <\/span><\/p>\n

The planned apartment community will feature 16 buildings, as well as a clubhouse and maintenance facility. Amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, business center, car wash and outdoor living area, according to the description provided by Sheehan Cos.<\/a><\/em> of Indianapolis. The company is a multi-family specialist that also manages Maple Knoll Apartments in Westfield and Lakeview Court Apartments in Noblesville (pictured<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n

In regional news, the Inside Indiana Business<\/a><\/em> reports that the city of Crown Point has recently celebrated the groundbreaking of an approximately $16 million assisted-living and rehabilitative care facility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Developed by Mainstreet Property Group LLC of Carmel, Claremont of Crown Point will offer 30 service-rich, well-timed assistance apartments and 70 Recovery Suites, in a hotel-like environment. The 66,598-square-foot medical resort at 1555 S. Main Street will also include a rehab center, movie theater, game room, restaurants, walking trails, Wi-Fi, and an onsite chef. <\/span><\/p>\n

The project is expected to create 350 construction jobs and 100 permanent jobs by the time it opens in the spring of 2015. <\/span><\/p>\n

“The City of Crown Point is excited about the partnership and investment that Mainstreet along with Symphony Post Acute Network have formed to create Claremont of Crown Point.\u00a0 <\/span>This location will combine quality health care with resort-style stay amenities \u2013 a new array of patient recovery model.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Coupled with the high number of construction and full-time employment opportunities, this is a win-win for all the parties involved,” David Uran, mayor of Crown Point, said in a news release.<\/span><\/p>\n
