The company since dwindled and layed off thousands of workers, acquiring big losses, according to the\u00a0<em>Dallas News<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Carr, Eric Mackey, John Alvarado and Robert Hill of CBRE Group arranged the transaction on behalf of Blackberry. Hunton &amp; Williams advised Brookfield Property Group fund in the purchase, according to news sources, which also includes a future development site.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Investors were attracted to this asset due to its high-profile Las Colinas location and asset quality,&#8221; said Mackey, senior vice president of CBRE in a prepared statement. &#8220;Riverside Commons also offer tremendous upside through the lease up of available space within one of Dallas&#8217; top resurging office submarkets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Las Colinas is regarded as one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cities\/dallas\/tdi-breaks-ground-on-las-colinas-luxury-m-f-opens-high-end-community-in-allen\/\">nation&#8217;s premier master-planned communities<\/a> offering resorts, upscale retail, golf courses and recently completed DART light-rail stations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Canadian investor Brookfield Property Group has bought  Riverside Commons, a six-building, Class A office property in Irving, Texas, from Blackberry for an undisclosed amount.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":952,"featured_media":1004092424,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1586,21808,21783,21742,21747],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004092422","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-dallas","category-featured","category-investment","category-latest","category-office"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.0 (Yoast SEO v28.0) -
