The project is expected to be completed in late 2015. It will be the fifth premier office tower within The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II master-planned development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1775 Tysons Blvd. will be located a block from the new Tysons Corner Metro Station, scheduled to open this spring. The Class A office tower will offer 476,000 square feet of space. It will be connected to the entire Tysons II development through a climate-controlled skywalk bridge over Tysons Boulevard. New York\u2019s internationally acclaimed Kohn Pederson Fox Associates is the project\u2019s architect, with the Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. of Chantilly as the general contractor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1775 Tysons Blvd. is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the first building within Tysons planned to do so. According to the developer, it will be &#8220;one of the most modern workplaces in Northern Virginia and in the Tysons district.\u201d The tower will feature 30,000-square-foot floor plates, a two-story lobby, banking and retail opportunities on the ground floor, a cafe, a fitness center, shuttle services, a conference center, multi- level covered parking and more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe are excited to begin construction of 1775 Tysons Blvd., as the iconic building symbolizes the new urban landscape of Tysons, Va.,\u201d said Mark Lerner, a principal of Lerner, in a statement for the press. \u201cWith the upcoming opening of the new Tysons Corner Silver Line Metro Station, we have received an elevated level of interest in our newest project within The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rockville-based Lerner Enterprises is one of the largest private real estate developers in the Washington, D.C., area.
