The new lease agreement, which has a termination date in 2024, was brokered by CBRE\u2019s Sacha Zarba, Chris Corrinet and<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_234313\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 187px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2014\/01\/114-Fifth-Avenue.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-234313\" title=\"114 Fifth Avenue\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2014\/01\/114-Fifth-Avenue.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"177\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">114 Fifth Avenue office tower<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Scott Bogetti who represented Mashable, and L&amp;L Holding Company\u2019s David Berkey and Andrew Wiener. According to an announcement released by L&amp;L, Mashable will occupy the entire 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 15<sup>th<\/sup> floors in the 20-story office tower, more than double the space it currently occupies at 304 Park Avenue South. The news-hub will most probably relocate to the new headquarters in August, as soon as renovations are completed at the office building.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re proud to welcome Mashable to 114 Fifth Avenue, which is widely acknowledged as an emerging new Silicon Alley hotspot,\u201d stated L&amp;L Chairman and CEO David Levinson. \u201cGiven the high demand and tight vacancy rate in Midtown South, we expect our leasing program to move swiftly,\u201d he added, noting that L&amp;L is currently in negotiations with a number of other tenants for the balance of the building.<\/p>\n<p>Completed in 19101, 114 Fifth Avenue was designed and built by Mayniche &amp; Franke. The building along with a 99-year leasehold was acquired in January 2013 for $165 million by a joint venture between L&amp;L and private equity firm Lubert-Adler, <a title=\"The Real Deal\" href=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/15\/ll-nabs-114-fifth-in-165m-joint-venture\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>The Real Deal<\/em> <\/a>said.
