Maloney Health Center recently opened on Columbus\u2019 South Side. Columbus Neighborhood Health Center leased the 21,000-square-foot facility at 1905 Parsons Ave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The facility offers family healthcare, prenatal care, nutrition services, OB\/GYN, immunizations and pediatric services, and will house Columbus Public Health\u2019s Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program. A fhealthcare center of\u00a0the same name closed in August 2006 because of structural problems. I<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mayor <a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2013\/11\/1403292_643923132305727_9881012_o.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-214082\" title=\"1403292_643923132305727_9881012_o\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2013\/11\/1403292_643923132305727_9881012_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a>Michael B. Coleman, City Council Member Priscilla Tyson, Columbus Public Health Commissioner Dr. Teresa Long, and Columbus Neighborhood Health Center CEO Tom Horan attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 28 together with community leaders, residents and \u00a0health care providers. \u201cThis new facility represents our commitment to providing primary health and wellness services to South Side families close to where they live,\u201d Mayor Coleman said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The city of Columbus provided $8.6 million for the center&#8217;s construction from a five-year bond issue approved by voters in 2008. On November 5, voters approved an\u00a0$842 million, five-year bond measure to fund capital projects for the next five years, as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/content\/stories\/public\/2013\/11\/election-update-democrats-remain-in-control-of-city-council.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>The Columbus Dispatch<\/em><\/a> reported. Revenue from the bonds will be allocated to capital improvements designed to attract new investment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe John R.
