Winthrop Realty Trust has agreed to acquire Summit Pointe Apartments, a 184-unit multi-family community in South Oklahoma City, through a joint venture. In an Aug. 22 statement, the Boston-based REIT estimated its capital contribution to the venture at $4.8 million. The transaction is expected to close next month.<\/p>\n

Located at 1002 South West 89th St., Summit Pointe offers easy access to I-35 and I-240. Tinker Air Force Base, Bricktown and downtown Oklahoma City are within a short driving distance.<\/p>\n

According to the Web site of Commercial Realty Resources Co., the property was completed in 2010. Units feature air conditioning, hardwood flooring, dishwashers, stainless steel appliances, new or renovated interiors and oversized closets. Its amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, pet park, garage, laundry facility, playground and swimming pool.<\/p>\n
