Fifth St. in Minneapolis\u2019 Central Business District, The Soo Line Building was originally constructed for the First National Bank of Minneapolis and upon completion in 1915 became the tallest commercial building in the city. Village Green broke ground on the redevelopment project on Oct. 10, 2012, and the Soo Line Building City Apartments was slated to become the first significant luxury rental community in 25 years.
