{"id":1004075283,"date":"2013-05-31T07:05:54","date_gmt":"2013-05-31T15:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/?p=135094"},"modified":"2022-03-04T11:04:26","modified_gmt":"2022-03-04T19:04:26","slug":"redbury-hotel-to-bring-hollywood-glamour-to-south-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/redbury-hotel-to-bring-hollywood-glamour-to-south-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"Redbury Hotel to Bring Hollywood Glamour to South Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>By Georgiana Mihaila, Associate Editor<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2013\/05\/the-redbury.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-135106\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2013\/05\/the-redbury.jpg\" alt=\"redbury hotel south beach\" width=\"300\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a>A unique partnership between sbe&#8217;s Sam Nazarian, Levy Restaurants founder and chairman Larry Levy, and developer Bob Heyat will soon bring the award-winning Redbury hotel concept to South Beach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Meant to reproduce the success of The Redbury Hotel at Hollywood and Vine\u2014which has been named one of the \u201cTop 10 Hippest LA Hotels\u201d by <em>USA Today<\/em>, among other recognitions\u2014The Redbury South Beach will feature 69 rooms and suites.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The hotel will be located on Collins Ave. and 18<sup>th<\/sup> Street, replacing the old Fairfax Hotel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With a design inspired by its Hollywood roots, the Fairfax redevelopment will also include art deco aesthetic elements specific to South Beach. The 69 rooms and suites will be complemented by a 12,000-square-foot rooftop pool and event space with food and beverage service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Situated across the street from sbe\u2019s SLS Hotel and The Raleigh, The Redbury\u2019s guests will have exclusive access to both properties\u2019 amenities\u2014including beach and pool access, as well as access to the spa and Priv\u00e9 Salon. Upon completion, which is scheduled for the fall of 2013, sbe Hotel Group will operate the hotel\u2014while Levy Restaurants will oversee food and beverage for the lobby level Lorenzo restaurant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cLarry and I share a love for South Beach, and we believe The Redbury brand closely connects with the energy and culture of the area,\u201d said Nazarian. \u201cAdvancing sbe\u2019s relationship with one of my mentors, Larry, along with his Levy Restaurants is an incredible opportunity that will position The Redbury for sustained success.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">He added: &#8220;Leveraging our shared expertise across real estate development, top-notch hospitality service and overall brand experience will enable us to create a product that resonates powerfully with both the local and global South Beach communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The launch of The Redbury South Beach underscores sbe\u2019s recent growth in the Miami area. In addition to The Redbury, sbe recently opened the highly successful SLS Hotel South Beach, as well as the Hyde Lounge AmericanAirlines Arena.
