Operated by Hyatt, the 159-key property\u00a0is located in the Gaslamp Quarter near the San Diego Convention Center, PETCO Park and San Diego Bay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2013\/03\/andaz-san-diego.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-111188\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2013\/03\/andaz-san-diego.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>Seventeen of the guest rooms are suites. Amenities include 18,500 square feet of meeting space, a fitness facility, four restaurants, a heated pool and a rooftop lounge and deck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Previously known as the Ivy Hotel, the property was rebranded Andaz San Diego in 2010. American Lodging Advisor Inc.\u2019s president &amp; CEO, Marcel Verbaas, commented: \u201cThis purchase aligns with our objective to acquire luxury, upper-upscale and urban upscale hotels in the top 25 lodging markets.\u201d A 6,000-square-foot upscale Katsuya by Starck restaurant recently opened on the Andaz\u2019 lower level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Hyatt\u2019s Andaz brand targets luxury boutique hotels\u00a0in urban and resort locations.
