Defense contractor Telford Aviation, Inc., a division of ACC Holding, Inc., has leased 11,160 feet of space at The Government and Technology Enterprise (The GATE), a state-of-the-art office and technology business park for lease to government sector and non-government users. The GATE is a 416-acre project built at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, in Harford County, by Baltimore developer St. John Properties, Inc.. Dozens of companies have relocated here in the past year as part of the military\u2019s Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) plan.<\/p>\n
Telford Aviation Inc. specializes in supporting deployment of government Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs with contractor logistics support, aircraft maintenance, primary mission equipment maintenance, contractor flight operations and PME training. The Milwaukee-based company will consolidate Program Management, Training and Technical staff to the Aberdeen Proving Ground location.<\/p>\n
Telford Aviation will occupy space at 6165 Guardian Gateway, a 51,120-square-foot research and development\/office\/flex building that is expected to be completed in August. The LEED Silver-designed building features a high-efficiency HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system, high performance windows, sustainable lavatory fixtures, a white thermoplastic polyolefin roofing system, significant open space and wetland\/forest preserves, drought-tolerant landscaping \u00a0and low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints, carpets and adhesives. The building will also satisfy federal anti-terrorism\/force protection standards providing Telford with the opportunity to sublease\/license space to their federal customers.<\/p>\n

In partnership with the U.S. Army, it is developing the 416-acre commercial office and technology park on Aberdeen Proving Ground, a leading R&D and testing center for the U.S. Army.<\/p>\n
Located at the main entrance of APG, The GATE is the central location for contractors and agencies that support the various commands on APG (C4ISR, RDECOM, ARL, ATEC, JSC, etc.). It is situated in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic region, with easy access to Washington, DC (75 mi.), Baltimore (36 mi.), Philadelphia (75 mi.) and New York (164 mi.) via Interstate 95 or Amtrak.
