The new, $60 million NOLA Motorsports Park&#8211;currently under construction&#8211;will be located south of the TPC Louisiana Golf Course in Avondale, 14 miles from the New Orleans Central Business District.<\/p>\n<p>The 750-acre venue will include exceptional amenities such as a signature restaurant, a 34,000-square-foot clubhouse\/event center and dozens of lots for members to build upscale condominiums over the garages, as reported by the <em>Times-Picayune<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, HRI Properties, a full-service real estate development company and a national leader in the adaptive reuse of historic structures, recently installed solar <a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2012\/02\/River-Garden.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-33929\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2012\/02\/River-Garden.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"126\" \/><\/a>panels at six of its developments in the New Orleans area, including the River Garden complex, the American Can Co. apartment complex in Mid-City, the loft-style apartments at the Blue Plate Foods building, a new apartment complex in Houma and a renovated historic building in Shreveport.<\/p>\n<p>The endeavor is part of a $10 million project recently developed by the company. The newly installed equipment is expected to generate 1.05 megawatts of solar energy, which is enough to power about 250 apartments, according to a <em>Times-Picayune<\/em> story.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <em>New Orleans City Business<\/em> reports that site construction has started for the Diamond Green Diesel Plant,\u00a0next to the Valero Energy Corp. oil refinery in St. Charles Parish.
