The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation unveiled a new campaign that aims to mobilize the region\u2019s business leaders and perpetuate the image of Denver as a top place for innovative people and companies. \"\"<\/a>The newly formed Metro Denver E-Force will be comprised of executives\u2014known as agents\u2014who will work in partnership with the EDC to share business news, latest rankings and inside knowledge via their professional and social media networks.<\/p>\n

The agents will be divided into two groups: the 5280 Agents and the Digital Agents. The 5280 Agents will be a core group, of 30 initially, selected by the Metro Denver EDC. They will help attract prospective companies to the region, identify suppliers willing to consider Colorado as their next destination and participate in various special events such as the Metro Denver Site Selection Conference. They will also help spread news via automatic uploads to their social media network.<\/p>\n

According to a recent study by the Brookings Institution, the Denver metro area attracted the most relocating adults ages 25-34 in 2011. The city was also third in the nation for job growth last year. The Metro Denver EDC hopes to continue the trend of attracting new companies to the region.<\/p>\n

Healthcare technology company TriZetto and IMA Financial Group are two of the companies that recently broke ground on new headquarters facilities in the region. SCL Health Systems also announced plans to relocate corporate headquarters from Kansas to Denver, thus creating 750 new jobs.<\/p>\n
