The company sent out requests to 12 developers for a 250,000-square-foot office building, according to the\u00a0<em>Dallas Business Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The company has been occupying its current office space at the Galleria location since 2001, when Kinko\u2019s moved into the tower. Three years later, FedEx bought Kinko\u2019s, maintaining its location. The company is planning its move when the lease expires in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>FedEx also announced that FedEx Freight in September opened a 17-acre facility in Haslet, just south of Alliance Airport. This is the fifth service center that FedEx opened in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The facility has 6,600 square feet of office space and 79 dock doors. It currently has 115 employees, but officials expect to add more to meet the needs of the new service center. FedEx has about 7,000 employees in Dallas-Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p>Four other recently signed\u00a0commercial lease transactions totaled 106,888 square feet, including both industrial and office space, according to <em>Citybizlist.com<\/em>. Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. represented the tenants for all the four lease pacts detailed below.<\/p>\n<p>The 59,928 square feet of cold storage were leased by Village Farms L.P., occupying the space in Northern Crossing West. The largest office lease was signed by Ignite Technologies Inc., which renewed the contract for the 18,041 square feet of office space in Hall Office Park.
