BBVA Compass will move its offices to 11,000 square feet at Museum Place in Fort Worth after announcing the sale of the 60,000-square-foot West Freeway building that housed its Tarrant County corporate offices.<\/p>\n
The company opted to move so its executives could be closer to the city center while it could also dispose of significant unused space, according to the\u00a0Dallas Business Journal<\/em>. BBVA Compass will remain a tenant in the West Freeway building, occupying 8,000 square feet of retail space. The buyer of the 60,000-square-foot building is a holding company for Williams C. Jennings Co. The\u00a0Dallas Business Journal<\/em> reported that the move will be complete in February 2012.<\/p>\n Another company relocating, in a northern suburb of Dallas, is Plano-based PFSweb Inc., which will move its headquarters and about 500 employees to Millennium Business Park in Allen. The company leased 75,000 square feet of space for a period of 10 years, receiving incentives from the city of Allen.<\/p>\n PFSweb has the right to lease the remainder of the building, comprising approximately 22,500 square feet of space, in the first three years of the lease term, according to Citybizlist.com<\/em>. The company also entered into a 10-year lease for 78,000 square feet of space in Renaissance Tower in downtown Dallas, thus doubling its North Texas call center footprint. According to the\u00a0Dallas Business Journal<\/em>, the company plans to create 600 to 800 new jobs in the next years.<\/p>\n The third move in Dallas this week was made by Satori Capital, which plans to move its headquarters to Saint Ann Court in Uptown Dallas, leasing 7,490 square feet of office space in the Harwood District.
