The developer formed a joint venture with Orlando-based Estein &amp; Associates USA Ltd. for construction of the Class A tower in Uptown Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>The project was planned in response to a high demand for office space in Uptown Dallas, John Brownlee, senior vice president at KDC, told the\u00a0<em>Dallas Business Journal<\/em>. The developer believes the tower will offer tenants the best location in the submarket.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>The Dallas Morning News<\/em>, the proposed 23-story office tower and a 378-unit apartment building would be the first construction in Victory Park in more than five years. The office high-rise is also the first close-in Dallas development by KDC, the newspaper noted.<\/p>\n<p>The tower\u2019s entrance is planned to face Victory Park Lane. Amenities will include an upscale restaurant, deli and fitness center. The\u00a0<em>Dallas Business Journal<\/em> states that KDC will begin construction this fall, with completion planned for late 2014. The architect is BOKA.<\/p>\n<p>KDC&#8217;s Dallas\/Fort Worth portfolio also includes projects like Bank One, at 400,000 square feet; BCBS Texas, at 1.1 million square feet; and Campus at Legacy, at 1.2 million square feet.<\/p>\n<p>Also planned for Uptown Dallas is Stoneleigh Residences, a 22-story luxury condominium tower that will replace the partly built Stoneleigh condo tower, which was initially planned for completion in the fall of 2010.
