Novare Group\u2019s Viewpoint condo tower will most likely get a new neighbor, as the developer has recently drafted plans for a new 23-story luxury high-rise apartment community on the northwest corner of 6th<\/sup> and Juniper streets.<\/p>\n Novare has pitched its plans for 100 6th<\/sup> Street to the Midtown Development Committee. In partnership with Batson-Cook Development Co., the developer wants to build a 23-story apartment community with 320 luxury units, street-level retail space and a three-level parking garage. The parking deck will be available off Juniper and 7th<\/sup>\u00a0Street and will accommodate up to 476 vehicles.<\/p>\n Featuring floor-to-ceiling glass, a rooftop pool and amenity deck, wood floors and granite countertops, the luxury units will be designed to attract the 25- to 34-old single demographic. The developer is aiming to attract young professionals who seek Midtown living, but will opt for the increased mobility of rental residences.<\/p>\n This is not the sole multifamily project the developer is currently working on, as both Novare and Batson-Cook are developing the 23-story SkyHouse Midtown at the corner of West Peachtree and 12th<\/sup> streets. Daniel Corp. and Seling Enterprises are also developing a nearby 330-unit high-rise apartment building at the corner of 12th<\/sup> and Crescent Avenue.<\/p>\n The current residential development trend for the Midtown area has been driven by the high number of jobs created within the past year and by Midtown\u2019s location as one of the most prominent cosmopolitan centers in the Southeast.
