Renaissance Centro has begun construction on Parc Reston, a planned 360-unit multi-family in Reston, Va., which also features two spectacular penthouse levels that feature sweeping views to Tysons and the Blue Ridge Mountains.<\/p>\n

\u201cParc Reston will offer spacious one- two- and three-bedroom well appointed apartment homes with incomparable amenities,\u201d Douglas Erdman, a partner with Renaissance Centro, told Commercial Property Executive<\/em>. \u201cParc Reston is located in a wonderful walkable community with direct access to the popular W&OD Bike Trail. It\u2019s a short walk from Reston Town Center, one of the nation\u2019s most successful shopping, dining and entertainment destinations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Renaissance Centro has already developed the nearby Stratford House and Carlton House in the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe developed the first high-rise residential buildings adjacent to Reston Town Center; the Stratford House and Carlton House, both amenity-rich and highly successful,\u201d Erdman said. \u201cThe company\u2019s principals also have extensive experience in development of single-family homes and age-restricted multi-family housing. They are combining many of the best features of all these housing types in Parc Reston.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amenities will include an outdoor rooftop pool, an indoor lap pool, ultramodern fitness center, an indoor spa, a yoga\/Pilates room, a rooftop clubroom, onsite concierge service and an executive business and conference center.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe homes will feature generous open floor plans,\u201d Erdman said. \u201cExpansive windows, full and French balconies in all units above the third floor, full-size washers and dryers, walk-in closets, oversized bathroom vanities and linen cabinets, gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and ceramic tile accent walls, and more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also close by to Parc Reston are employment centers, a hospital, library, grocery store, child care centers, and the new Silver Line Metro station opening in 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cReston was founded in the early 1960s by Robert E. Simon, Jr., one of the nation\u2019s first and largest award-winning master-planned communities embodying the founding principles of being a place where residents can live, work and play,\u201d Erdman said. \u201cThe community offers miles of trails, as well as multiple lakes, swimming pools, tennis courts, an active community center and more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Units are expected to be available for leasing in the summer of 2014.<\/p>\n
