The event marked an important milestone in the LDS Church\u2019s transformation of two downtown city blocks.<\/p>\n<p>The 20-story-tall Regent building is located at 100 South and has a modernistic design, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a stunning close-up view of the mountains and the city. There are 536 condominiums or apartments in total, ready for occupancy, and 30 percent have already been sold or rented. The prices of the condos range from $150,000 to more than $1 million.<\/p>\n<p>Taubman Centers Inc. is developing the 700,000-square-foot retail portion and has announced the first 20 retailers.
