<\/a><\/p>\nCase in point: Hyatt Place Nashville\/Downtown, the 255-key hotel that recently broke ground in downtown Nashville. Hyatt Place is the result of a partnership between White Lodging Services Corporation of Merrillville, Ind. and Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc.<\/p>\n
PFVS Architects designed the 13-story hotel that will feature a 175-car parking garage, 3,600 square feet of meeting space and a 24-hour fitness center. Hyatt Place Nashville\/Downtown will feature a signature Hyatt Place lobby with its usual dining and drinking venues, such as The Gallery, a full bar open 24 hours. According to a press release, Hyatt\u2019s suites are designed to be 20 percent larger than the average room size, and will have an upscale design. Complimentary Wi-Fi, 42-inch flat screens and mini fridges will be available in all rooms.<\/p>\n
White Lodging\u2019s second Nashville hotel is being built in a prime location: the former site of Rock City Machine Co., at 301 3rd<\/sup> Ave. South, a short walk from Nashville\u2019s business center and just two miles from Vanderbilt University, as well as West End District, the food lover\u2019s haven. Hyatt Place will also be one block from Music City Center, one block from the recently expanded Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and two blocks away from Broadway, made famous by countless live music venues. Sports fans choosing the Hyatt will be within walking distance of the Bridgestone Arena, home of the Predators, the city\u2019s professional hockey team. The Tennessee Titans\u2019 LP Field is not far either.<\/p>\nWhite Lodging will be developing and managing the property, as well as having partial ownership of the Hyatt with affiliates of Host Hotels &Resorts.<\/p>\n
