Alta Harvest Station will consist of 13 three-story buildings with 175 one-bedroom, 107 two-bedroom and 15 three-bedroom units, averaging 940 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s transit oriented, being located at Mass Trans stop and just off the Boulder corridor and across a pedestrian bridge from the 1STBANK Center, a new sports\/concert arena and Arista retail and restaurants,\u201d McEntee said. \u201cOur primary goal for this new multi-family community is to serve the nearby Interlocken\/Broomfield business hub, where recent job growth has been strong.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas-based architectural firm Womack + Hampton designed the project with a post modernistic urban theme including stucco, cast stone and a fiber-cement-siding exterior. It will also include covered staircases to provide access from the interior and street-facing elevation.<\/p>\n<p>The project will be modeled after the company\u2019s successful Alta Aspen Grove in nearby Littleton, which is a 280-unit, garden-style, eco-friendly and transit-oriented community at 7317 S. Platte River Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>Community-wide amenities will include a plaza with seating and water features, a resort-style pool, an outdoor fireplace, a dog park &amp; wash, bicycle repair shop and a state-of-the-art fitness center. There\u2019s also a yoga\/serenity room, a Japanese meditation area, a business\/office center with wireless Internet, and a grilling area with flat-panel TV displays.<\/p>\n<p>The Alta Harvest Station Apartments will also include 1.4 acres of public land dedication, part of which will be developed into a one-acre pocket park near Wadsworth and 118th Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>According to Wood Partners, the project is expected to generate an estimated 362 local jobs, $23.46 million in local income and $2.46 million in taxes and other revenue for local governments, based on National Association of Home Builders calculations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a significant amount of high-tech and new technology jobs,\u201d McEntee added. \u201cThere is 5 million square feet of office space adjacent to the site in Interlocking.
