Over 50,000 jobs were created over the past 12 months,\u201d Oprindick said. \u201cKing County\u2019s population growth is outpacing the national average and is expected to expand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Axcess 15 is situated next to Oregon\u2019s largest regional mall, the Lloyd Center and is just five minutes from Portland\u2019s CBD which is home to more than 21 million square feet of office space.\u00a0 The property is within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, Safeway, bakeries, bike stores, parks and movie theaters.<\/p>\n<p>The three apartment investments were each originally acquired by Hunt Investment Management in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>A SEC registered investment advisor, the company has $3.2 billion of assets under management in the United States and Europe in non-core investments, including more than 20,000 apartment units.\u00a0Since 2010, the firm has acquired 14 multi-family investments with 4,806 units, totaling $640.8 million in total capitalization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe supply will not be able to go back to historical levels until 2014-2015.\u00a0By that time, we believe the economy should begin to accelerate leading to additional demand for rental housing,\u201d Oprindick added. \u201cThe particular fund these assets were sold from still maintains an overweight to apartments with its largest holdings concentrated throughout northern California, Seattle and suburban Chicago.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hunt Investment Management has sold three apartment properties for a total of $139 million on behalf of various clients.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":451,"featured_media":1004047934,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21783,21742,21749,15],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004047932","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-investment","category-latest","category-retail","category-west"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.0 (Yoast SEO v28.0) -
