The former head of the firm\u2019s Client Solutions group, Sharp will continue to report to Corporate Solutions CEO Tod Lickerman.<\/p>\n<p>In his new role, which he is assuming immediately, Sharp will be focusing on improving the speed to market of products and services for JLL&#8217;s industry services (healthcare, life sciences, financial services) and emerging focus areas for the firm&#8217;s clientele. He is also focused on product development and innovation (he leads innovation globally). He&#8217;s also actively involved in expanding the leadership JLL has in the U.S. capabilities around the globe as Corporate Solutions services have a good deal of growth opportunity in EMEA and Asia Pacific.\u00a0Sharp offices out of Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the past 18 years with the firm, Doug has successfully accelerated the client service practices that we apply to all of our corporate accounts,\u201d said Lickerman. \u201cHis experience as the incubator of emerging business opportunities, and his ability to innovatively solve unique client challenges, is the ideal combination to help advance our position as the industry leader in real estate outsourcing solutions globally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sharp\u2019s 25 years in the real estate industry include experience on all three sides of real estate: as an investor, a corporate user and an advisor. Prior to leading JLL\u2019s Client Solutions group, he served as president and CEO of the company\u2019s Project and Development Services Group in the Americas and as global chairman of its Banking Industry Practice.<\/p>\n<p>Sharp holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. In addition, he holds a Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation from CoreNet, where he was vice president and chapter officer in Los Angeles. As a member of the CoreNet faculty, he has lectured on project management and basic finance.
