The commercial real estate services firm was recently tapped by Brause Realty Inc. to tend to the tenant roster at 52 Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n<p>JLL steps into the role previously held by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, which, in a previous incarnation, had taken on the job in 2003, according to news reports at the time. JLL&#8217;s duties will encompass a comprehensive list of leasing services for the Class A property. A 20-story tower, 52 Vanderbilt boasts a direct underground connection to Grand Central Terminal and a history that dates back to 1916. The building also features approximately 6,900 square feet of ground level retail space that will not fall under JLL&#8217;s domain.<\/p>\n<p>The 52 Vanderbilt deal is not the first interaction between JLL and Brause. &#8220;Over the past few years, we have developed a terrific relationship with Brause Realty,&#8221; said Lloyd Desatnick, senior vice president with JLL. &#8220;They were already familiar with Jones Lang LaSalle&#8217;s professionalism and commitment to achieving the best results for our clients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yielding assignment after assignment, September has been a busy month for JLL and there is still a week to go before it ends. This month&#8217;s deals include a contract to spearhead the leasing and management of the 253,000-square-foot Beaumont Business Center office park in Tampa, Fla., and an agreement to serve as the exclusive real estate provider for Children&#8217;s Medical Center in Washington, D.C.\u00a0 The firm also landed the leasing and management contract for the 480,000-square-foot Hawaii Kai Towne Center in Honolulu.
