Gregory Vorwaller, formerly the chief operating officer of capital markets and president of the investment properties group at CBRE, will now serve as Cushman\u2019s global head of capital markets. Vorwaller will be based in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>Vorwaller had been with CBRE since 1993 and previously served as vice president in the real estate financial department of The First National Bank of Chicago. At Cushman he will oversee the division specializing in representation of third-party investors in the acquisition, disposition, financing and recapitalization of worldwide commercial real estate.<\/p>\n<p>He was appointed as president of the investment properties group at CBRE in 1999 and had a major role in the creation of the CB Richard Ellis Senior Housing Group within that division. Vorwaller earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Economic Club of Chicago.
