The lease initially comprises 208,000 square feet with the option to expand up to 270,000 square feet prior to occupancy, and brings the tower\u2019s occupancy to 95 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Bain will officially relocate to its new quarters in fall 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Cushman &amp; Wakefield Inc. represented both tenant and landlord, with Gil Dailey, Dave Martel and Rob Griffin representing Bain and Bill Anderson representing the landlord.<\/p>\n<p>An iconic figure in the Boston skyline, the John Hancock Tower is a Class A building located in the Back Bay district. It is nearly 1.8 million square feeet and 62 stories high, making it the tallest building in New England. It was designed by noted architect Henry Cobb and completed in 1976.
