Additionally, the report says that the majority of federal government real estate growth that was realized last year and projected for this year will be concentrated in the DC region, with upwards of 5 million square feet of net new absorption.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a significant concentration of absorption given net private and public demand across the United States (not including Washington, DC) combined does not equal 5 million square feet,\u201d the report asserts.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, federal demand this year is expected to be stronger than last year.
