Duke Realty Corp. has leased a nearly 98,000-square-foot office building at Camp Creek Business Center, located three miles west of Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, to the Federal Aviation Administration.\u00a0 The facility, located at 1500 Centre Parkway, will accommodate approximately 400 Federal Aviation employees in multiple departments.\u00a0 The company plans to occupy the building in early 2009. The FAA lease brings Camp Creek Business Center\u2019s office space, which totals 375,000 square feet, to 94 percent leased. \u00a0This latest deal represents the third significant transaction with government-related entities in the past 12 months.\u00a0 Earlier this year, Duke completed a 47,000-square-foot build-to-suit for the Department of Homeland Security and renewed a 34,000-square-foot lease with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, both Government Services Administration transactions.\u00a0\u201cWe are pleased to have attracted the FAA to Camp Creek Business Center,\u201d Chris Brown, Duke senior vice president said in a release.\u00a0 \u201cCamp Creek\u2019s unique combination of airport and interstate access and proximity to high-quality amenities provides a great corporate environment for office users.\u201dCorey Richardson of Duke Realty represented ownership in the transaction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
