Following are some tips on what we&#8217;re looking for.<\/p>\n<h3>News Releases:<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\">If possible, submit your press release to the best candidate on our team-whether it&#8217;s an editor covering your market, the daily newsletter editor, one of our podcasters, or other specialists.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\">While\u00a0the press release is great background, we&#8217;ll want to interview an expert and get some original quotes and perspective. Please be prepared to arrange\u00a0a same-day\u00a0interview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\">News must be current-we do not report news that is a few days old or previously reported\u00a0by another venue.
