WCCG Conquers New Mississippi Market
A self-storage owner and operator sets foot in The Magnolia State.

World Class Capital Group has recently announced the acquisition of a self-storage portfolio in the Jackson MSA in Mississippi. The transaction included properties previously managed by Uncle Bob’s Self Storage.
The new portfolio consists of three properties totaling more than 1,800 units and 238,445 square feet, all of which will be managed, marketed, and rebranded under Great Value Storage. The acquisition marks World Class Capital Group’s fourth self-storage portfolio acquisition during 2015, and Great Value Storage’s first expansion to the city of Jackson—the brand has already been present in Mississippi with storage facilities in Hattlesburg, Brandon and Flowood. Great Value Storage also operates facilities in Texas, Ohio, Tennessee, Nevada, Missouri, New York, Illinois, and Indiana.
Inside Self Storage Magazine recently recognized World Class Capital Group as the fastest-growing self-storage operator on its Top 100 Self Storage Operators list of 2015. The privately owned self-storage company operates approximately 30,000 self-storage units in 60 facilities throughout the United States and its 4 million square feet of rentable space in have earned the firm the 16th place nationally by total square footage, according to the annual ranking.
