David Z. Mafrige Interests has selected Transwestern Senior Vice President Ken Adams and Senior Associate Licia Shreves to provide health-care leasing services for the 105,000-square-foot Corpus Christi Medical Tower. The new owner has recently renovated the Corpus Christi, Texas, asset’s lobbies and implemented several building infrastructure improvements.

Located at 1521 S. Staples St., the property includes medical office spaces ranging from 1,000 to 13,328 square feet and offers full-service laboratories, on-site management and 24/7 key card access. The asset is situated within walking distance of the shopping district Old Town Six Points and less than a mile from CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi – Shoreline.

“It is our intent to preserve the building as it is a staple in the Corpus Christi community. Ten years ago, the property was 97 percent occupied. David Z. Mafrige Interests has invested considerable resources to show our commitment to the current and future tenants bringing Corpus Christi Medical Tower back to its former glory,” said Andrew Clark, president of David Z. Mafrige Interests, in prepared remarks.

Recently, the Transwestern Healthcare Advisory Services team has grown with the appointment of Blake Williams as COO. He is based in Houston and will, among other responsibilities, ensure consistent service delivery for health-care clients.
