Tenants Announced for Atlanta’s 7000 Central Park

CBRE Global Investors welcomed new tenants to 7000 Central Park, an 18-story office tower totaling 423,775 square feet in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter district. The latest signings took over more than 16,000 square feet of space at the Class A property.

The new tenants operate in sectors ranging from technology software and media to education and legal services. CLX Communications, a global provider of cloud-based communication services, moved into the building located at 7000 Central Parkway in September, while Kumon North America, an after-school education company, occupied its space in August. Miller Williams Law has been operating at 7000 Central Park since May, and Checkmarx, a company specializing in application security solutions, became a tenant in April. The latest company to ink a lease agreement is Discovery Communications, expected to move into the building in December.

“There’s a strong correlation between employee engagement and performance-related outcomes, and 7000 Central Park checked all the boxes for providing the type of cutting-edge, energized environment that meets the high standards of Kumon North America, Inc.,” said Grace Massari, branch manager at Kumon, in a prepared statement.

Enhanced amenities

The LEED Silver-certified tower is currently undergoing major renovations and is part of CBRE’s “5-Star Worldwide” program. Improvements to the building include renovations to the front lobby, a full-service fitness center, a collaborative co-working space and conference center, expanded café area, meeting space, and a new outdoor gathering space. In addition, the owner of 7000 Central Park recently entered into a new partnership with Zagster Bike Share, allowing tenants to pick up a bicycle at a newly installed rack on the property and ride for up to three hours at no charge. Renovations are expected to be completed by November.

Spec suites featuring open office layouts that range from 1,263 to 5,071 square feet are available throughout 7000 Central Park. Tenants on the building’s top three floors have access to outdoor terraces that offer views of Central Perimeter and the Atlanta skyline. Nearby amenities include several mixed-use communities, dining options and retailers such as Super Target, Loehmann’s and Jos. A. Bank.
