Stewart Trial Attorneys has inked a 5-year, 12,020-square-foot lease at 55 Allen Plaza, a 348,658-square-foot, Class A office building in downtown Atlanta. The law practice is expected to move into the new location in the second quarter of 2019. Ackerman & Co. negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant, while Lincoln Property Co. represented the owner, The Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois.

Located at 55 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. N.W., the office building is near Civic Center metro and MARTA stations, providing easy transportation across town. The property is close to the Downtown Connector and approximately 11 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

According to Yardi Matrix data, the 14-story, LEED-Gold building was completed in 2007 and is currently 95.1 percent occupied. On-site amenities include secure building access, a fitness club, café, conference room and 344 parking spaces.

Ackerman & Co. Senior Vice President Del Early negotiated on behalf of the tenant, while Senior Leasing Associate Caroline Fisher of Lincoln Property Co. represented the owner.

“The firm was attracted to 55 Allen Plaza’s excellent location providing tenants immediate access to the I-75/I-85 connector, walkable access to MARTA bus and rail, the adjacent W Hotel and nearby restaurants and retail,” said Early, in a prepared statement.

Just last month, Fisher was part of a Lincoln Property Co. team that closed nearly 80,000 square feet in new leases at an office complex located 2 miles north of 55 Allen Plaza.
