Trimble-Junction Ventures has selected Cushman & Wakefield’s Silicon Valley office to lead the leasing efforts for Trimble Tech, a two-building, 176,000-square-foot research and development campus in Silicon Valley. The facility is scheduled for completion in September. The marketing team will comprise Nick Lazzarini, Kalil Jenab, Kelly Yoder and Steve Horton.

Trimble-Junction Ventures will redevelop two existing buildings by upgrading the façade, the landscape and the lobby. The firm will also add an outdoor amenity area.

“The extensive work and remodeling will breathe life into these two well-established buildings and offer an ideal space for the right company seeking extremely modern and efficient creative space,” Michael Broadfoot of Trimble-Junction Ventures said in a prepared statement.

Located in the northwest quadrant of East Trimble Road and Junction Avenue in San Jose, the new R&D campus will offer easy access to San Jose International Airport. Trimble Tech is also situated near numerous hotels, retail and dining options.

The redevelopment of the two San Jose buildings comes a month after Irvine Co. acquired Alton Plaza, a 19-building office, research and development campus in Irvine, Calif. Apple Inc. also recently debuted its $5 billion Apple Park campus in Silicon Valley in April.
