Premier Design + Build Makes Key Promotion, Hires SVP

The company promoted Mark Melone to executive vice president & director of construction nationwide and Michael Long to senior vice president heading the Midwest division.

Premier Design + Build Group has promoted Mark Melone to executive vice president & director of construction nationwide and hired Michael Long as senior vice president for the company’s Midwest division. Melone has been with Premier Design for 13 years having first held a project manager position. Throughout his appointment, he oversaw the completion of various projects and was instrumental in establishing the company’s risk management program as well as opening the Miami office.

Long is a construction industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience. In his new role, he will lead the Midwest regional team and ensure delivery of all Premier’s projects in the region. Prior to joining the company, Long was a vice president with Principle Construction Corp., where he managed building teams for a large spectrum of project types.

Premier Design + Build is known for its industrial and warehouse projects but the company’s portfolio has broadened in the recent years to include medical, office, retail, interiors and adaptive reuse.
