MetCreative Office Campus

Zydeco Development has broken ground on the first of four buildings that make up phase two of the company’s MetCreative Office Campus in Austin, Texas. The 550-acre, Class A, mixed-used business park in central Austin will have a total of 410,000 square feet of office space once completed.

JLL is handling leasing at the project and recently completed more than 225,000 square feet of leases for the new offices of Seton Healthcare, Power Home Remodeling Group, Kapsch TrafficCom and Arrive Logistics in buildings 12 through 15.

“Zydeco Development has created a unique blend of creative office space that caters to office users looking for collaborative, efficient space with proximity to the amenities the Central Business District, South Austin and the expanding East Austin provide, without having to pay the freight for core real estate,” said Brent Powdrill, vice president at JLL, in prepared remarks.

High-tech and high-design

MetCenter II was designed to accommodate life science tenants and is situated near the University of Texas campus, Highway 71, Highway 183 and SH 130 and is less than five miles from downtown Austin. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is a short drive from the office campus.

Onsite amenities at the office complex include a disc golf course, a 1.5-mile hike and bike trail, as well as basketball and tennis courts. A food truck court and eatery is available for tenants and the surrounding community during lunch hours Monday through Friday.
