Marriott Opens Dual-Branded Hotel in CO

Marriott International Inc. has opened a dual-branded property which includes Fairfield Inn & Suites Boulder Broomfield/ Interlocken, a 90-key hotel, and the 122-key Residence Inn Boulder Broomfield/Interlocken in Broomfield, Colo. Bedford Lodging of Dallas owns the hotel and Aimbridge Hospitality of Plano, Texas, is managing it.

Located at 455 Zang St., 10 minutes from Boulder and 20 minutes from downtown Denver, the development is minutes from the FlatIron Crossing Mall, the University of Colorado at Boulder, the 1STBANK Center and Sports Stable. Additionally, the property is close to major employers including Ball Aerospace, Oracle, Level 3 Communications, SCL Healthcare Systems and Ball Corp.

The four-story Fairfield Inn & Suites Boulder Broomfield/ Interlocken hotel offers 79 rooms and 11 suites and includes amenities such as air conditioning, mini fridge, hair dryer and HDTV. The Residence Inn Boulder Broomfield/Interlocken features 122 suites offering a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom suites.

“Attracting both business and leisure travelers, the Boulder/Denver area is an ideal location for this dual opening,” Janis Milham, Marriott International’s senior vice president, said in a statement. “Each brand offers distinct amenities and services that tailor to all visitors.”

Marriott recently unveiled plan to open 40 luxury hotels this year. Brands include The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, St. Regis, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, EDITION and JW Marriott.
