Krusinski Construction Co. has broken ground on a 112,505-square-foot building in Rolling Meadows, Ill. School Health Corp. will move into the new facility from Hanover Park. Architect Ware Malcomb and civil engineering company SpaceCo. Inc. are part of the team involved in the construction of the mixed-use property. Trammell Crow Co., the firm that recently began work on the second phase of the 127-acre Fallbrook Pines Business Park in Houston, is also a partner in the Chicago-area project.

Located at 5600 Apollo Drive, the distribution and office facility will provide easy access to the junction between interstates 90 and 290. O’Hare International Airport is less than 11 miles from the planned property. Following the demolition of the existing property, the new structure is set to include a two-story LEED-certified building, with 24,700 square feet of office space. The warehouse is slated to feature a power-fed system solution conveyor, more than a dozen dock doors, 32-foot CSH ceiling, LED lighting, as well as handling equipment to service roughly 100,000 customer orders each year.

According to Yardi Matrix data, CBRE is the leasing manager of the 14-acre project, which is expected to be completed this fall.
