Kidder Mathews Appoints New VP

Brad Van Blois, who is joining the San Francisco office, adds nearly 20 years of local commercial real estate experience to the firm’s roster.

Kidder Mathews has hired Brad Van Blois to join the company’s San Francisco office as vice president. Van Blois brings roughly 20 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm. Throughout his career, he has closed more than 250 lease transactions totaling 1.4 million square feet. His focus with Kidder Mathews will be on Class A and B office properties in San Francisco’s downtown submarkets.

Most recently, Van Blois managed the listing team for Faller Real Estate over a one-year period. Prior to that, he worked with Colliers International, leaving his position of vice president in April 2017 following more than seven years in the company’s San Francisco division. Before his move, Van Blois served as a commercial appraiser with Integra Realty Resources for one year. Earlier, he held a similar role with Cushman & Wakefield between early 2003 and late 2008. Van Blois holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley.

In April 2018, Kidder Mathews also hired a new senior vice president to focus on expanding the firm’s retail brokerage in Sacramento, Calif.
