InterContinental Hotels Group opened the highest hotel in Vietnam, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72. The hotel can be found atop the Keangnam Landmark72, comprising the 62nd to 71st floors.

Located in Hanoi, the 359-key hotel features panoramic views of the city skyline through its floor-to-ceiling windows, 860 to 10,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space, a business center, swimming pool, fitness center and three restaurants.

Booming Location

The hotel is within close proximity to some of Hanoi’s major landmarks and attractions such as Hanoi Museum, Vietnam National Convention Centre, Garden Shopping Centre and the headquarters of many Vietnamese multinational corporations. The hotel is also less than 40 minutes from Noi Bai International Airport.

“Hanoi is truly a booming travel destination in the region, with double-digit year-on-year growth in international arrivals and attracting over four million visitors in 2016 alone,” said Leanne Harwood, vice president of operations for South East Asia and Korea, in prepared remarks. “Opening our second InterContinental hotel in Hanoi puts us in even better position to offer top-notch luxury accommodation for travelers in the country.”

Last month, IHG signed the Staybridge Suites Warsaw Ursynow, the first Staybridge in Poland. The 190-key hotel, set to debut in late 2019, marks the company’s eighth property in Europe.
