The Logan Philadelphia, Curio Collection by Hilton offers 391 sophisticated guest rooms, including 64 suites complete with marble floors and French doors that separate the bedroom from the living area. Guests have access to an indoor heated pool, 24-hour fitness center with state-of-the-art Precor equipment and a 24-hour business center. The property is managed by Sage Hospitality and owned by Host Hotel & Resorts.

The Logan Philadelphia is located on the edge of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, in the heart of Logan Square. Adjacent to the hotel is the Urban Farmer Philadelphia, which reflects a unique steakhouse concept by restaurateur, Peter Karpinski, co-founder & COO of Denver-based Sage Restaurant Group.

The Commons Lounge, located in the lobby, offers guests a comfortable place to socialize and enjoy small plates and cocktails from 3 p.m. to midnight daily. Assembly, the hotel’s rooftop lounge, will open in spring 2016 showcasing unrivaled views of Philadelphia’s Museum District.

The Logan Philadelphia will feature locally curated art, including statues, paintings, murals and sculptures, true to the city’s scene. For event organizers, the property offers 12,700 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and banquet space–including a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 guests. There are also 12 modern, highly adaptable meeting and event spaces ranging from rooftop venues to sunlit boardrooms. Customized on-site catering and audio/visual equipment are available.

“From its energetic environment and luxury accommodations to its prime location in the heart of Logan Square, The Logan Philadelphia is a community landmark, and will continue to be a social magnet for locals and visitors as we celebrate a new chapter for this beautiful hotel,” said Dianna Vaughan, global head of Curio—A Collection by Hilton. “With its unique design fueled by this city’s deep history and local artwork, we’re proud to welcome this hotel to our growing collection of remarkable upscale and luxury hotels.”

The hotel’s name has been inspired by the rebels and freethinkers that put Philadelphia on the map. Its namesake, James Logan, was once colonial secretary to William Penn, mayor of Philadelphia and governor of Pennsylvania. He was also the author of numerous scholarly papers on ethics and philology, as well as a natural scientist, with a particular interest in botany. Furthermore, Logan established The Loganian Library, which laid the groundwork both for The Philadelphia Public Library and American public libraries in general.
